About the Gym

My approach is about giving you an activity thats for you, by you.  Something special happens when you are happily obsessed about getting better—you end up training harder, more consistently, in a more invested way.  In other words, the process of learning will automatically yield the physicality you seek.

With that said, I organize my sessions in such a way that emphasizes the development of skill delivered in a palatable way.

My aim is for you to discover a new dimension of yourself through boxing, not through the mirror.

This isn’t about losing weight, getting abs or a better physique.  This is about loving a process with positive physical side effects.

Private and Semi private training

Private and Semi private training

Private training allows the student to build on their personal skills at their own pace. Learning in a private and inclosed environment can really help aid a students growth and gives them the time and space to build on their fundamentals. Some times you have a loved one or even a friend who wants to embark with you on your fitness journey and I believe that to be an amazing experience as you guys can grow together and put your skills to the test. Semi private training can be really beneficial to both students and may even help over come some insecurities one may have when entering a gym or new space.

Learning boxing is a great facilitator to training mainly because I find it to be a stronger motivator:  We are most motivated when we are learning something.  When the focus is on learning, we end up training harder and more consistently and it is these elements that define our approach here.   The first half of class builds physicality and conditioning, and the second half takes those same movement patterns and applies towards boxing principles. The classes are designed in such a manner that it welcomes students from beginners to advanced levels. Each class we will always focus on 3 main components; Footwork - Defence - Offence. These are the fundamentals of boxing and each play a pivotal point in the development of each student.

CLASS DETAILS

45 minutes strength and conditioning through calisthenic movements:

Boxing requires a strong foundation and during the first 45min we work on simple but effective ways to build strength.

&

45 minutes: Technical skills of Boxing, This is when we dive into the sweet science of boxing; from learning correct footwork and being able to defend ourselves, to learning all the punches and putting them into combinations!
